Proven by the recent discovery of “Samabaj” a Maya ceremonial site once nested at the bottom of this lake, pottery from many different indigenous nations has been found deep in the floor of this incredible lake making it a place of connection to the deep inherent beauty of the natural world.
A volcano that exploded uncountable years ago giving birth to this lagoon that after hundreds of thousands of years was filled by rain water and rivers and till today holds an ancient crater connection to the center of the planet making it an energetic vortex that attracts humans of all walks of life, that all tough our purposes might be different, we all get touched by this magical place and leave with a sense of deep inspiration, or never leave at all.
